Jennifer Lawrence has a small round belly as she reveals her second pregnancy!
The "Hunger Games" star is expecting a second child with husband Cooke Maroney, whom she married in 2019.
They will soon be four. American actress Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child, her agent confirmed to Vogue magazine on Sunday, October 20. The rumor had been growing since the day before, after the "Hunger Games" star appeared at the exit of a dinner in Los Angeles (United States) with a rounded belly.
She is already the mother of a two-year-old boy, named Cy, whom she had in February 2022 with her husband Cooke Maroney, a gallery owner. The couple married in October 2019 in Rhode Island, on the east coast of the United States.
After the birth of her son, the actress had already confided - to Vogue - her complex feelings about motherhood. "Luckily, I have a lot of friends who have been honest. They told me: It's scary. You might not be comfortable right away. You might not fall in love with your baby right away. So I prepared myself to be accommodating," she explained.
The actress is due to present a documentary soon
Oscar winner for "Silver Linings Playbook" in 2013, Jennifer Lawrence went on to star in many successful films including the second "X-Men" trilogy, in which she played Mystique, as well as "Joy" and "Don't Look Up". This pregnancy announcement comes as the Hollywood actress is due to present a preview of the documentary "Zurawski v Texas" on October 25, of which she is a producer.
The project, co-produced with Hillary Clinton, tells the story of the impact of Texas’s strict anti-abortion laws, through the story of Amanda Zurawski. The Austin woman became pregnant in 2022, when the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the ruling. At 18 weeks pregnant, she suffered serious medical complications that put her and her unborn baby’s life at risk. But doctors refused to perform an abortion, saying it would expose the young woman to criminal prosecution in Texas and up to 99 years in prison. She suffered from sepsis and had to go to another state to have an abortion.
